Please indicate which of the following you're applying for. The regular Space Crew position involves setting up and taking down the classroom each day, 15 minutes before and after class. The Kitchen position (which may or may not exist depending on COVID) involves tidying up the kitchen for 10 minutes at lunch and 20 minutes after class.
In order for either of these positions to work, one must be reliable and able to show up on-time. If you know that timeliness is a persistent challenge for you and will likely continue to be, it's best to not apply for this position. Please comment on your relationship to being reliable and on-time.
With the Space Crew position, you'll be working with a few other classmates. For the Kitchen position, you'll be working alone and may need to occasionally inspire fellow classmates to clean up after themselves more. Please comment on your ability to work with others or work by yourself, whichever is most relevant to the position you're applying for.
Both the Space Crew and Kitchen positions could probably be done by anyone, but some people are better suited for these jobs for various reasons. The Kitchen position requires putting dishes away, tidying up, and mopping a small floor. The Space Crew position requires carrying large carpets, vacuuming, sweeping, and opening/closing windows. Please explain in terms of character, physicality, and experience why you're a good fit for the position. Include any relevant work experience, along with references with email addresses.
Please comment on the level of your financial need. To help us be objective, please list your gross adjusted income on your last federal tax return, what work you did in the past year, whether you plan to work while attending PCAB, what sort of financial assistance you expect to receive from others, and anything else relevant to this topic.
PCAB research likely involves reading scientific articles relevant to PCAB topics and summarizing their findings. Conducting research is less likely, but not impossible. Please describe what experience you have doing research. List any topics that you feel most inspired to explore, and anything else that you feel is relevant to this.
